A handful of guests have expressed that despite the friendly service, there were occasional hiccups with timely service during busier diners.
Popped in for lunch today, last visited a few years ago and remembered how wonderful the place, staff and food was. Well today they have outdone themselves, wonderful staff and the food, OMG 😱 probably the best tasting burger I’ve ever had in a pub, if your in Worcester you MUST visit this place if your feeling hungry and why not have a few beers !
We were in Worcester visiting the cathedral and decided to have a late lunch. Saw the sign advertising food and decided to give it a go. The best decision ever 😁, we both had the liver, bacon and onions which came with mashed potatoes and either mushy peas or garden peas. It was home cooked and absolutely delicious, delivered in a bowl with an extra jug of gravy, yummy. On a cold and rainy day nothing better.
Excellent hostelry which we revisited are a long break. Very friendly staff lady who served both at the bar and at table. Well kept draught beer: Otter. Food was super and very plentiful at a good price. In Worcester? well worth a visit
Lovely gem of a pub very friendly landlady and the food was some of the best I've eaten in a pub would highly recommend can't wait to go back . fantastic value for money
Proper town centre pub (one of the very few left on Worcester) with a real 'local pub' atmosphere. Utterly cracking Sunday roast lunch; beef cooked perfectly, roast veg & potatoes just as you remember them.
Great fish and chips, and curries for the kids- friendly staff, great pub. Just watch out for the door frame on the way out, if you are tall!
